Students will be reviewing the first half of the semester which includes chapters, "Para Empezar, Chp 1A-!B, Chp 2A. Students need to review the vocabulary and grammar activity in the previews chapter’s mentions.
Chapter 1A vocabulary and grammar summary!
Students will contiue to work on describing their winter vacation and in Spanish using he preterit and imperfect tense. Also, students need to prepare to record their speaches on the class microphone. While recoridng your speeches the rest of the students will work with the imperfect handouts.
Students need to continue to work on their writing assignment about their winter vacation. Each student needs to have a visual display and a written portion of the vacation. I have provided a few sample sentences that students can use to write their description.
Here are some sentences that you can incorporate in your presentation.
1) Estuve enfermo durante mis vacaciones.
2) Mi familia me regalo muchos regalos
3) Hacia mucho frío en las vacaciones
4) Abrí mis regalos en el veinticinco de Diciembre
Mis vacaciones fuero muy buenas, lo pace con amigos y familia. No tuve tarea y no hice nada. Pero Channon pudo a cortar la grama con la nieve.

Today students will be working on family vocabulary and their Christmas summary. Each student needs to describe their family experience over the Christmas brake. There needs to be visual representation of their story. Students will work on the assignment for homework and present it on Thursday or Friday depending on their schedule.
Students will be introduce to a culture story base on a "Fantasma". As a class we will take turns in reading and discussing the culture significance of the "fantsma".
Unit theme: This unit continues on the sequence of the chapter 1B of the introduction of the preterit tense after the imperfect.
Topic: Students will be introduced to the imperfect to express thing that happen over a period of time.
Essential question: How does culture and events in the past define generation?
SWBT: Use the imperfect tense to describe events in the past SWBT: use the vocabulary with the imperfect tense to describe what they have done. SWBT: use the verbs ir/ ser/ ver, to describe what has happened.
Students will be introduced to the imperfect tense.

Students will be introduced to (Manos a la Obra) in chapter 1b. Objective: Read, listen and understand information regarding athletic events, competitions and goals and prizes.

Today is a reintroduction of the preterit tense, with regular, irregulars, and stem changing verbs. Understanding the uses and the application will clarify communication. The focus will be on pages 17- 19 on the class handout.

Today is your class introduction day. Students need to practice for five minutes before they need to present in front of class. This will count as a quiz grade. In the presentation focus on your pronunciation and speak as clear as possible. The goal is to inform your audience of who you are and what you like to do.
Today is a shorten day! students need to work on answering the following questions in Spanish; in order to introduce yourself to the class. Depending on your schedule this will be either Thursday or Friday.
The students In Spanish 3, class have to work on the imperfect tense. Please have students open their class handout on page 194 and read about the Imperfect tense. Students need to work on activity 14 “En la casa de nuestros abuelos” on page 195.
The students also need to read the imperfect tense of irregular verbs such as: (Ir/Ser/ Ver). Students need to read how to conjugate the irregular verbs and work on activity 16 -17 on pages 196 – 197. All work should be kept with the students to be reviewed on Wednesday.
